Your group needs to send staff from overseas to the UK to work on client projects here.  You first need to incorporate a UK company and then that UK company needs to apply for a Sponsor Licence.  Once the Sponsor Licence is granted by the UK Home Office, your UK company can apply for work visas under the Skilled Worker (SW) and Global Business Mobility (GBM) Senior or Specialist Worker categories.  UK work visas case studies

  • A Skilled Worker visa can be granted for up to 5 years and after that permanent residence in the UK (Indefinite Leave to Remain) and subsequently citizenship can be obtained; more about Skilled Worker visas
  •  Students (but not short-term students) who have completed a UK degree can apply to switch to a Skilled Worker visa if they can find a sponsoring employer;
